How it works: Recipients
When you apply for Free Restorative Tattoo Services through Hope & Olive, we have a dedicated team that works with our Applicant Coordinator to ensure that these services are the right fit for every unique situation.
Hope & Olive offers free restorative tattoo services to qualified recipients. Those who have dealt with life-altering circumstance such as (but not limited to) cancer, human trafficking, Trichotillomania, or burn trauma, so that survivors can do something different for themselves after all the appointments and treatments.
What is Restorative Tattooing?
Restorative Tattooing is a permanent makeup, cosmetic tattoo that resembles the look of makeup, such as eyebrows and areolas.
FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
All potentital recipients must complete the Recipient Application. This is a required step in the process. Regardless of how you heard about Hope & Olive, an application must be completed in order to be considered for services.
APPLICATION REVIEW
The Hope & Olive Inc. board of directors has a committee that reviews applications monthly. This committee will discuss every application and uses a rubric guide to determine if a Recipient should be approved or denied based on specific criteria.
BOARD APPROVAL
After the Applicant Committee has reviewd and approved your application, the next step is board approval. With board approval, your information is then passed to the appropriate Network Artist to navigate the next steps.
CONSULTATION
Your Network Artist will be in contact with you to setup an in person consultation. A Consultation is required so the Artist can verify that the restorative tattoo procedure you’ve been approved for is the best fit for you.
